Outlook for 2009
“In a safe place in difficult times,” is how President Georg Thaller views his situation. “For 164 years, the Fissler family has always regarded business activities as being about more than just the generation of profit. Understanding what cooks need, developing innovative products and production techniques, opening up new markets – these are what the Fissler family enterprise has always stood for, and what it stands for now.” With its innovative products,
excellent service, and expertly qualified personnel, Fissler can confidently face the challenges of 2009. "Over the decades, we have developed a "Made in Germany" brand with a quality image that our customers identify with and trust. This is what we are building on," explains Georg Thaller.

Looking forward confidently - product innovations in 2009
This trust in its own ideas, backed by courageous investment decisions, continues to characterize Fissler in 2009. A new generation of pressure cookers, represented by the vitavit® comfort and vitavit® premium models, is set to become a fixture in kitchens everywhere. Fissler has made them even more user-friendly and given them a young, modern design. The associated seven-figure product investment was the highest in the company's history.
A special production line for the new pressure cookers has been constructed at the Idar-Oberstein site. Three new knife lines will also be launched in June to inject new vitality into this product segment. The new products stand for the trend towards healthy, tasty and energy-saving cooking. “The customer of the future will be more demanding. He will want intelligent products embodying
perfect quality, form and function. Our aim is to provide this and, in doing so, to enhance the joy of cooking,” says Thaller.
